Okay everyone, I need your help. I need a good name for a food blog. I’m going for concise, but pithy. Something with a fairly intellectual bent, possibly referential, but I’m also open to witty. I’m going to be giving this lots of though my own self, but I know y’all are a creative bunch, so I figured I’d open it up for suggestions, too.
Let me know what you come up with! I’m off to have a good ponder.
Cheers,
Kelly
p.s. I’m in love with Lee Pace (The Fall, Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls).
My suggestions all stink, but of course that’s no reason not to share them:
Grub Gab
Chow Chat
Epistles from an Epicure
Buddha Wants a Cheeseburger
… I’ll quit while I’m behind.

Maybe Gastro Gab? (I’m a fan of the word Gab.)
Also, I love the pretentious sheen on Epistles from an Epicure! : )
Thanks for throwing those out there!

I agree, cute boy.
Also thinking of things worthy of a Kelly Blog name.

Epistles from an Epicure gets another vote from me.

Or you could rearrange the latian one:

I am horrible with titles so nothing yet. I liked Connoisseur Manifesto, but now all my thoughts are stuck in politics (Liberte! Epicure! Fraternite!… pitiful). Oh yeah, I ran across a quote the other day that made me think of you:
The poets have been mysteriously silent on the subject of cheese.
I completely agree.

I kind of like GastroGab kind of has grown on me, though I also think it sounds like a newsletter for internal specialists.

Okay, I thought of one last night:
Food for thought
Kelly really needs to post another post so the bad puns and silly-ness can stop and new sillyness can commence.

Actually, the poets have NOT been silent on the subject of cheese. Only the capable ones have. James McIntyre, aka “Canada’s Chaucer of Cheese,” has a number of cheese poems, including “Ode on the Mammoth Cheese”:

Dude, between your culinary prowess and your dazzling geeky credentials. I think you could be the one.
In fact, we should have our own contest.

Seriously, once the comments start including Canadian cheese poetry, it’s time for a new post.
To emphasize this judgement, I’ve decided to include a link to another informative, Canada specific website. Enjoy:

I finally realized that no one else here watches Monday night sitcoms, so the link I added probably seems a lot more scandalous than it really is.

Mock, mock, mock frickin’ mock. Come on, which name did you choose?

It’s my theory that you haven’t posted for 6 weeks because you’re holding out until after you complete your mission in some super-secret ultra-exotic locale.
